Clean the Bathroom in Under 15 Minutes
– Gather your supplies. Grab toilet bowl cleaner, tub and shower cleaner, glass cleaner, and all-purpose cleaner wipes. Be sure that your toilet bowl brush and a brush for scrubbing the tub are also ready to go. If you’re squeamish about touching anything, grab a pair of cleaning gloves, as well. A broom and mop can wait outside of the bathroom door.
– Begin! Enter the room, set your timer for 15 minutes, and prepare yourself to beat the clock. A ticking countdown can be a magnificent motivator to clean the bathroom in a short amount of time!
– Prepare the toilet. Start by squirting the toilet bowl cleaner around the inside rim of the toilet bowl.
– Prepare the tub. Then, remove everything from the bathtub or shower and spray it down with the tub cleaner.
– Clean the glass. Spray and wipe down the mirror and windows with the glass cleaner. Remember, your timer is ticking, so keep moving!
– Wipe down everything. With the all-purpose cleaner wipes, wipe off the sink, back of the toilet, flushing handle, toilet seat (top and bottom), and around the rim of the toilet bowl. Spray down the outside of the toilet and wipe that down, as well.
– Clean the toilet. Use the scrub brush to wipe down the tub and surrounding walls. Rinse them off with water and replace the shampoos, body washes, etc.
– Clear out the room. Place your cleaning supplies outside of the bathroom door.
– Clean the floors. Grab the broom and sweep the floor, moving the dirt toward the door. If you’re mopping, start at the far end of the room and mop toward the door.
– Put your supplies away. Put your cleaning supplies away, wash your hands, and pat yourself on the back for a cleaning job well done.
In under 15 minutes, you can have a sparkling clean bathroom without a lot of fuss. Remember to keep moving and race yourself. Cleaning the bathroom is a chore you don’t have to like, but, if you focus, it can be one you don’t hate!
